LAHORE, SEP. 2019: CCL’s Training function recently organized a weeklong field force development training in Lahore, which was attended by 52 sales promotion officers of the Specialty business (Elite, Max & Matrix teams). Training topics included human anatomy and physiology, pharmacology and microbiology, products and disease areas and selling skills. Apart from these, other topics included adverse event reporting, Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE), CCL’s values and general introduction to policies and guidelines along with career path by the Human Resource, Medical and SFE departments.
While addressing the audience, Dr. Shahzad Khan, MD & CEO pointed out that in this period of economic recession when the companies are reducing the number of employees, CCL is expanding and launching new teams. He motivated the participants to look into future and put in sincere efforts to pursue their dreams.
Muhammad Akram, Commercial Director, sensitized the participants to get maximum learning from this session and execute their learning in the field to enhance the impact of their calls. “Work for your success because if you succeed in achieving your objectives, the corporate objectives will automatically be accomplished,” he added.
Shoaib Ahmed, Chief HR Officer, mentioned how the participants can improve their learning. “Share your learning with your teams as this will further strengthen and improve your knowledge,” he added.
Shahid Malik, Head of Marketing & Sales, Specialty Business, highlighted that there is no short cut to success. “You must prepare yourself to benefit from future opportunities to climb the career leader,” he added.
Later tutorial sessions were conducted by the training team with the help of respective product managers, followed by products detailing sessions. Learning of participants was evaluated through a daily quiz; winners of the training program were awarded medals and souvenirs.
