CCL like other conscientious organization has set for itself its own Corporate Core Values. First phase of awareness program of the first Core Value, i.e. Collective Responsibility and Integrity has successfully been completed in which all members based at Head Office and Sales Management participated. Field Force and Factory Staff will also be given awareness regarding this program in near future. At the inaugural session Mr. Kashif Sajjad Sheikh, MD CCL Pharmaceuticals, expressed that all employees should inculcate these core values in their professional life.

Piomet is a combination of Pioglitazone and Metformin, two oral hypoglycemic agents in tablets for oral administration. Piomet is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients with type II Diabetes Mellitus. It is available in two formulations, i.e. Metformin 500mg & 850mg in combination with Pioglitazone 15mg in each formulation as Tablets in packs of 14 tablets each. The MRP of a pack of Piomet 500 is Rs. 93.00 and the MRP of Piomet 850mg is Rs. 100.00

Cefixime is a well established broad spectrum anti-infective of Cephalosporin group and belongs to 3rd Generation. Cef-OD is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by the susceptible pathogens. Cef-OD is available in three strengths i.e. 400mg Capsules, 100mg Suspension in 30 & 60ml. The MRP of a pack of 5 capsules is Rs. 195.00, a suspension of 30ml is Rs. 95.00 and a suspension of 60ml is Rs. 160.00

After successful completion of the wrapping campaign of the first value i.e. Collective Responsibility and Integrity, CCL Pharmaceuticals has started implementation phase of the second and third corporate values, i.e. Participative Management and Ongoing Interpersonal Communication.
A visible change is seen across the company as an organization having a defined corporate culture and a positive behavior is seen in terms of collective responsibility.

Mr. Kashif Sajjad Sheikh, MD, CCL Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd. has been elected as Chairman for the year 2007-08 in the Annual Elections of Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association (PPMA) held at Lahore in December 2007.
