CCL participates in YLES 2018

The Consumer Healthcare (CH) team recently participated in the 5-day Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs Summit (YLES) 2018 held at the Lahore University of Management Sciences.

“We always take pride in being part of prestigious events at leading universities nationwide as it provides us a platform to showcase our consumer products to the youth and is also beneficial for corporate image building,” remarks Usamah Iyyaz Billah, Marketing Manager, Consumer Healthcare, CCL.

CCL was a prominent part of two business events, Brand Rush & Plug It In. Brand Rush included a creative competition among the students involving Battle of the Brands and Brand Your Inventions, the two exhilarating rounds of this event, which aimed to highlight how an idea can attract consumers through posters, banners, games, samples and much more. Plug It In was based on entrepreneurial ideas by the participants.

Contestants developed creative collateral on Ezifiber, Dextron-D and Pulmonol lozenges as per the given space while thinking out of the box, for example, a TVC, poster, and website. As part of the engagement activity, the CH team set up a stand of Bioumousse Flora and offered free product samples to over 1200 students of top business schools from all across the country who participated in the event.

Brand Manager Yasser Anwar said, ‘Intimate hygiene is considered a taboo and our brand Biomousse is such a wonderful vehicle to break barriers. Many of the girls didn’t know that Biomousse gel is a daily intimate wash for females and is equipped with a triple action formula.”

LES is the first student-based entrepreneurial society in Pakistan and seeks to encompass the spirit of growth and entrepreneurship by fostering leadership, business and organizational skills.

CCL Pharmaceuticals awarded Special Merit Export Award in FPCCI Export Awards 2017

CCL Pharmaceuticals was a proud recipient of the Special Merit Export Award at the 41st Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Export Award ceremony held in Karachi during December 2017

The award aims to recognize distinguished companies, which has earned a foreign exchange equivalent to Rs. 500 million or more. FPCCI export awards are considered highly prestigious at home and abroad and the recipients of FPCCI awards enjoy an exalted position in international markets and are recognized as high profile exporters of the country.

CCL’s Annual Sales Conference 2017 held  

A series of three exciting and fun-filled events were recently held to celebrate CCL’s Annual Sales Conference 2017 at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Islamabad, Nishat Hotel in Lahore and Pearl Continental Hotel in Karachi respectively. Reflecting the motivational theme of Josh-e-Parwaz, the conferences aimed to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of the whole sales team.

In each event, Management Committee members and senior managers stood at the reception to shower rose petals as screaming sales team stepped in the hall. “It’s always a pleasure to be here among all the champions. Thank you all for coming here and I know that some of you have come a long way. We all have been working hard work throughout the year but there must be some time for some fun too,” remarked Kashif Sajjad Sheikh, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, CCL.

Later Dr. Shahzad Khan, Chief Operating Officer CCL Pharmaceuticals, presented some insightful milestones that CCL had achieved throughout the year and thanked the teams for all the outstanding work. “You just heard the vision of the organization but I must say that unless our sales force is effective we cannot achieve this vision,” he said. He also shared the fairy tale success story of Sita in local market and in Sri Lanka.

The events were alive with rollicking fun, lively dancing, shrieking laughter, cheering and entertaining skits by sales teams while chirpy Naveeda Nisar, HRBP Marketing and Sales and witty Rizwan-ur-Rasheed, Business Unit Manager, hosted the events. Incidentally the skit on the life of an SPO was highly appreciated. The conferences also included some business sessions and each evening was signed off by soulful numbers in the velvety voice of celebrated singer Naeem Abbas Rufi.

“Values are our success mantra,” says Kashif

New set of Values launched by CCL’s HR function.

Shoaib Ahmed, Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), CCL Pharmaceuticals, welcomed the audience to the first session of the values relaunch event held at the Finished Goods Warehouse at CCL’s Head Office in Lahore. The event was attended by over 50 senior managers of the company in a colorfully branded venue which reflected the four different colors of the revised values.

Quality Culture Initiative launched at CCL

An entertaining event was recently held at the CCL’s Plant in Lahore to celebrate the launch of Quality Culture Initiative. The initiative included the re-launch of CCL’s Quality Policy and many engaging competitions such as poster-making, slogan writing contest, speech making competition and quality improvement suggestions among CCL’s employees. The objective of the initiative is to highlight the role of quality in various activities across the value chain. The colorful event was attended by over 400 employees of the plant and Head Office and was hosted by Uzma Anwar, Lead Legal Affairs in HR, plant management team including Dr Rizwan Mahmood and Umer Saleem and administration team including Abdul Hayee and Nadeem Saeed.The evening began with the unveiling of CCL’s new Quality Policy at plant reception by Kashif Sajjad Sheikh, Managing Director & CEO of CCL, who was accompanied by the Management Committee members and senior managers.

Biomousse Flora awareness campaign held at KC

The Consumer Health (CH) division of CCL Pharmaceuticals recently participated in a daylong seminar Know Yourself, which focused on women’s health challenges and emerging issues. The seminar was organized by the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at the Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore, in collaboration with SAFOG (South Asian Federation of Gynecologists).The objective of the seminar was to create deeper awareness about the health issues of young girls. The seminar also focused on describing the prevalent women’s nutritional situation in our country.

Chatooli launch ceremony held in Lahore

An exciting and colorful ceremony was held at the Luxus Grand Hotel in Lahore this week to mark the launch ceremony of Chatooli, the digestive candy, introduced by the Consumer Healthcare division of CCL Pharmaceuticals.“Welcome to the launch ceremony of Chatooli, which is being brought to you after many moons of research and spade work and we are proud that you being our strategic partners are here with us to write another chapter of success,” remarked Usamah Iyyaz Billah, Marketing Manager, CCL Pharmaceuticals.
